Senior Finals
The last day of school for seniors is Wednesday, June 3. Seniors must complete all finals, return all textbooks to the library, and pay all fees and fines before being allowed to participate in graduation.
Baccalaureate
Baccalaureate is an optional, faith-based celebration for graduating students. While hosted at AHS, it is not directly affiliated with the school. Participating graduates should meet in the AHS Music Room at 6:30 PM dressed in their caps and gowns.

Senior Sunset
Seniors will meet at the Astoria Column at sunset to celebrate the last day of high school. This event is optional and not put on by the school. Column passes will be available in the main office.

Astoria School District Grad Walk
Members of the Class of 2026 are invited to parade through the halls of Astoria School District schools dressed in their caps and gowns. The walk begins at Astoria High School at 8:00 AM and culminates at the Flavel House in downtown Astoria. Graduates will then walk along Commercial Street to the Liberty Theater for the Awards Night Rehearsal. Transportation for graduates will be provided by the school district.
Optional EventAwards Night Rehearsal
Seniors choosing to participate in Awards Night or who are receiving AHSSI Scholarships are required to attend. Meet outside the Liberty Theater at 11:45 AM. Caps and gowns are not required for rehearsal. Rehearsal will last approximately one hour. Transportation back to Astoria High School will be provided by the school district.

Graduating seniors receiving awards and scholarships will be honored at this event. Seniors not receiving a scholarship or award are still welcome to attend and participate with their class.
Seniors should wear their caps and ironed gowns and meet in the McTavish Room (upstairs) by 6:30 PM. A reception for graduating seniors and their families will follow in the McTavish Room.
Friday, June 5
Graduation Rehearsal & Awards Assembly
Seniors are to report to the AHS Auditorium by 8:00 AM. Following the Awards Assembly, the graduation rehearsal will take place at CMH Field. All seniors planning to walk at graduation MUST attend the graduation rehearsal. Rehearsal should be done around 12:00 PM. Seniors who request transportation will be transported by the school district to CMH.

Graduation
Graduating seniors should report to the AHS Commons by 2:30 PM with their caps and gowns. Graduates will be shuttled by bus to CMH Field, where they will be lined up in walking order by 3:30 PM. A shuttle back to AHS will be available after graduation.
Senior Celebration
This free event is hosted by the Class of 2026 Parents for all graduating seniors. Permission slips will be available in the AHS Main Office. Graduates will not be able to attend without a signed permission slip by a parent or school official, even if the senior is 18.
