Astoria High School’s football program first played in downtown Astoria at Gyro Field/John Warren Stadium beginning in 1928. The new sports complex, reflects the quality of our longstanding football program of which we share great pride. The new facility opened in October of 2014
Our goal was to develop a professional environment with the installation of custom-made wood lockers that would represent a lineage in tradition. We invite you, as part of the legacy of Astoria High School’s football program, to participate in this exciting chapter of Fishermen Football.
The Astoria Alumni Locker Project provides all players, present and former, as well as all supporters of AHS Athletics a tangible means of connecting with the program and to help us maintain our new facility.
A contribution of $500.00 allows one of our 65 home lockers to be named in honor of any business, alumni, or contributor. This locker nameplate will remain in tribute for the lifetime of our new locker room and is a symbol of your commitment to AHS football.
Please consider becoming part of the Astoria Alumni Locker Project by completing the enclosed form and returning to the address listed below.
Your support of the Astoria High Athletic programs and our new facility is much appreciated. Help us celebrate the past while building for the future.
